Now that we’re here, should we have come?

Begin Here

The site is organized into galleries of pages, as indicated on the banner menu. The subject matter spans from sound bites (Zingers) by the hundreds to history’s stories to technology that only engineers can fathom. In fact, most of the engineers capable of following the sociotechnology want nothing to do with the social behavior of their hierarchy. Likewise, none of the social sciences want anything to do with  mathematical physics.

To really understand the mechanisms of action, you really have to climb above the mentor line. The best approach is to forget about discipline boundaries and test the concepts and procedures out in your own reality world.

One of the many surprises we received after attaining the Plan B state in 2013 was that the scope of social behavior spans a range of sciences and disciplines that no one before had attempted to measure. The connections of social behavior to safety, health, and security, for example, were never linked to productivity. It took a year of comparisons to gain confidence in the scope, measured between Plan A and Plan B installation.

  • The “History” of human society is voluminous. Many excerpts from this history are provided.
  • The “Armamentarium” gallery is the toolroom for the MitM. It is a treasure trove of offense/proactive task actions for attaining and sustaining Plan B status. This gallery is a handy handbook for the MitM not in the FLLP. It is in engineer-speak.
  • The “Books” gallery lists the material about the Plan A to Plan B development process published since 1988. Most of it is available on Amazon. It is in engineer-speak. The interventionist collection of pertinent books numbers over 17K. The number of books read by the interventionists, not in the collection, exceeds 40K.

Since the factory of concept evaluation was and is our operational reality, the platform of applied engineering principles was and is the navigational aid. Midcourse corrections are frequent. Our operational strategy is the process of elimination.

Surprising truths lie ahead

Touring this website is something akin to going on an unannounced Easter Egg hunt. You’re engaging the sociotechnical domain of society without preconceptions or pre-knowledge as to what’s there. Since the developers of Plan B didn’t know what was to be unearthed there either, we were frequently surprised by the noble truths – always with eggs on our face. Since there is a good chance that you will encounter the same surprises we did, the significant ones are enumerated below.

The purpose here is to help you learn about social behavior reality, its causes and effects. Most of the surprises can be validated in advance by tests you can perform yourself in your environment. Surprises are milestones on the road of making progress. Each jolt is a very personal experience, no two of us the same.

Requisites

  • The interconnectedness of the social network is paramount. Network theory rules supreme
  • The upper hierarchy, no matter what, cannot be the prime mover of collective prosperity
    • There is zero connection between authority and positive-change power
    • The ubiquitous top-down assumption is fatal
  • There is zero connection between significance of benefit and opinion-based motivation to act
    • Avoiding/recovering loss is 3x the subconscious motivation over gaining advantage
  • Every decision in Plan A operations is made by the impetuous subconscious mind on autopilot – delivering cognitive illusions that are counterproductive. Gatekeeping by the conscious mind is a Plan B requisite
  • As a derivative of natural law, the 2½ rule is generic, universal. It can’t be overcome
  • Inalienable rights of the workers cannot be infringed without consequences
  • Undiscussables is GIGO, fatal. Transparency and openness is essential
  • All progress begins with the keystone, the man in the middle
    • No criticism
    • No imperatives
  • Performance is the parameter of collaboration, bias eraser
  • Illegitimate zero-sum social intercourse is rampant
  • The biggest surprise, by far, for us was the fact that the fact of Plan B attainment did not go viral. The benefit package is huge, its cost negligible, and a flourishing society is obviously the way for humans to live
  • Except for the keystone level, Plan A is supported by both its perpetrators and its victims to the detriment of both.

Sampling of zingers

  • There is no responsibility without autonomy.
  • Natural laws cannot be proven by experience, although experience is in conformity with them. But natural law is general and we can know its generality.
  • We do not possess a natural flair for guessing right. Intuition is not the result of critical thought.
  • All human knowledge accumulates by the development of our inborn animal instincts.
  • Doubt cannot be feigned. Incompetence cannot be concealed.
  • Trustworthiness is assessed by the subconscious mind in a centisecond.
  • Nothing gets done without communication.
  • Greatness comes from the improvement of method.
  • Explanation is not connected to truth.
  • You can only build high-stakes trust when you have your act together.
  • Your reasoning process is either self-correcting or not.
  • Experience it and you need to understand its mechanisms of action.
  • In social life, ever-changing circumstances over which control is impossible incessantly force you to make a choice between two courses of action – actions consistent with goal attainment or actions consistent with bankruptcy.
  • Only what exists is real.
  • Cognitive processes take time. Aggression is fast.
  • Reason is the self-control of morality. Where there is no self-control there is no self-reproach. The self is a social product.
  • Plan A is a community incapable of resolving the disturbances which plague its continued existence. It is not self-correcting
