A brief history of our pilgrimage to Plan B

We have survived an interesting life as curious passengers on the roller coaster of social behavior, a ride taken by every one of you.

Our formative years were filled buying-in to our socialization and twenty years of formal education, including the Harvard graduate school of business and its divinity college, finding out the hard way the two highly-regarded doctrines were exactly the same.

The second era began when our experience in social intercourse showed us that everything we were taught was failing to align with the operational reality. We noticed that the only folks having any success following the party line led fraudulent and corrupt lives. More experience taught us that the imposters of social virtue were everywhere.

The third era began with our commitment to take the wreckage of social system failures as “effect,” and work back upstream to discover the “causes.” We couldn’t imagine a more important riddle to the survival of our species. After decades on the roller coaster and historical study, it was certain that no one before us had ever found a solution. The first riddle was dealing with the monstrous complexity in an objective, effective way.

The fourth era began in 2013 when we solved the riddle. The specification of solution includes the following:

  1. The primary and secondary causes of organizational dysfunction (OD) are known and demonstrable. They have a scientific basis in mathematical physics.
  2. The essential characteristics of the fix are known and demonstrable using the same mathematical physics employed in illuminating causation.
  3. The process of transposing a social system languishing in OD to a flourishing state is known, demonstrable, and generic. Everything in the transmutation is psychological. Without mass there is no inertia.

There are two separate ways for anyone to validate the attainment.

  1. Direct examination and evaluation of live implementations (show me). Follow up on your standing invitation
  2. Checking the mathematical physics of social behavior (control theory) used in dynamic simulation

The solution to the paramount riddle of species survival stands on its own feet – incontrovertible, transparent, and immune to opinion, beyond dispute. The reaction of society to this species-saving attainment is a separate facet of social “intelligence” having no bearing whatsoever on the veracity of the first riddle’s solution.

The wholesale rejection of the fix by society announced a second riddle that automatically emerges after you solve the first riddle. It provides a high-powered instrument for locating causation of self-inflicted social degeneration and unrest. While we have enough ongoing applications to keep happily occupied, we have yet to solve the ambush riddle of social adoption. We are still in the thankless process of elimination with, so far, nothing but an impressive list of failed candidates, including all the usual suspects.

As there is no hint of this riddle in the social history of humanity, looking for a solution has no guiding precedent. This puts us in the exact pickle we faced for decades in solving the first riddle. There is no guarantee that a solution for number two exists. So far, not a hint.

Personally, the 2013 success with Plan B brought us a lifetime of self-esteem and self-confidence for solving the significant social system “problem.” Our happiness has always been independent of opinions. The Keystones we work with recognize this genuine serenity instantly and we think it adds to their hyper-learning experience. They know attaining serenity is a DIY project and there is living evidence it can be done.
